Society Meetings
The Bristol Astronomical Society meets most weeks throughout the year. Our regular Friday evening meetings, where we have either an invited speaker form the astronomical commuity or an eveing of short talks by society members, take place at Bristol Grammar School. Bristol Festival of Nature
We are also regular contributors to the annual Bristol Festival of Nature, the UK's biggest celebration of the natural world. At the festival the society carry out solar observing allowing the public to safely look at our nearest star. We also have a family activites area where you can create your own galaxy or constellation.

Open Observing Sessions
Observing sessions are being held every clear Saturday night at our observatory just south of Bristol. If you would like the chance to look at the night sky throught a large telescope then this is your chance. You do not need to be a member of the society to come along to one of these sessions just check out the details here
